FHA MEMBERS FHA Club (Future Homemakers of America) consists of students who are presently enrolled in Home Ec. classes or who have been enrolled in the past. The club is affiliated with the state and national FHA organizations and takes part in 2 state meetings each year. The fall meeting is a kick- off meeting to promote involvement in the state FHA goals, which are centered around personal improvement and strengthening of the family. The spring meeting consists of recognition for club accomplishments within these areas and election of state officers. This year our FHA Club has chosen the March of Dimes as a focus, and activities and fund raising ideas are planned to raise money for the association. Other annual activities are: putting on the Sweetheart Assembly in February, a possible spring trip to Seattle, and the Election-of-Officers Dinner in May. Fellow students, This past year has been an interesting one. Though we only had eight people in our Publications class, we feel that we pulled together a pretty good yearbook. We are also the weirdest, most fun-loving class this school will ever have. Before you thumb through the rest of these pages, we urge you to sit down. If you are pregnant or have heart problems, please ask your doctor before read- ing the 1985 Simba. The staff would like to thank the sponsors, the schoolboard, the photographers, the state of Wash- ington, the President, the Pope, and the many men of Regina for making it possible for us to survive throughout the year.
