January 11 New Orleans Jazz gains Slick Watts to its list of team members. January 12 The great debate: Gary Allen vs. Sophomore Girls. January 13 H.H.H. (Hubert H. Humphrey), politician for Minnesota, passed away after a long battle with cancer. January 13 The Lions go into triple figures over the Borderites, 104-57. January 25 The Lions go into triple figures over the Trojans, 103-53.
