Two FOREWORD Look well to this day, for it, and it alone, ir life. In the brief cottrre of thir clay lie all the varietier and realitier of your exirtence: the joy of growth, the Jplenilor of beauty, the glory of action. Yerterday ir but a memory, and tomorrow ir but a virion. But a today well built, maker each yerterday a memorial of happinerr, and each to- morrow a dream of hope. Look well, therefore, to thir one clay, for it, and it alone, if life. From The Sanscrit Cparaphrasedj The theme of Simba '63 is Building for Tomorrow. Looking back upon the i962-63 school year we can readily see how the new experiences of each day prepared us for a better tomorrow. New friends, new instructors, new ideas, and a new school building became a part of our life at Lynden High School. They helped us build our lives on a more solid foundation so that our tomorrows might be happier. Children yet in grade school, Freshmen, and Sophomores have many tomorrows left to enjoy at Lynden High School. The Juniors naturally have fewer tomorrows left here. The Seniors, however, have already completed the construction of their lives. Their tomorrows will not be at Lynden High School but somewhere in the bright future. The Annual staff hopes that this annual will provide pleasant memories. And that many years from now in your tomorrows you will be able to look back upon your building days at Lynden High School with great satisfaction.
