The Lions had a 17-1 record going into the District Tournament at Mount Vernon. There, the Lions dropped two games which disqualified them from the State Play-Offs. Ron Bennink last year's county scoring champ, came through again this year with 199 points, bettering his previous mark by 60 points. Bennink and De Boer were given berths on the All District Team. Bennink was also chosen on the All State Team. Losing six seniors Bennink De Boer Assink Muenscher Young and Taubenheim will increase the difficulty of m tching such a record next year. There are high hopes they will, however and to next years team we say The Best of Luck.
