Superintendent Mr. Ben Boxum er ; . tj |= £ There Is A Time - and it is now! One of the questions most frequently asked by people is - “What time is it?” If we are trying to get to class and avoid a tardy, or if we are in class and waiting for it to end; if we are traveling and are anxious to arrive; if we are having a good time but know we are to be home at a certain hour; if we are ill or anxious and can’t sleep; of if we have over slept; any of these occasions prompt the question, “What time is it?” The Bible tells us God created time - “In the beginning, God —.”’ Genesis 1:1. God is eternal - timeless - but we are not. There is a time, the Bible says, a very important time and that is now. God gives to each person, you and me, a definite period of time on this earth - and then we are taken from time into eternity. During that time span each person is called to seek God now. John 3:16 says “God so loved the world He sent His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” Notice that - not a timed life but eternal life. 2 Corinthians 6 says it well, “I tell you, now is the time of God’s fa vor, now is the day of salvation.” There is a time for everything. But the first thing you must do while you are in time is seek God’s Kingdom, Luke 12:31, through faith in Jesus Christ as your Savior. Have you done that? If you have, then you have nothing to fear in time or when time ends. If you haven't - There Is A Time, and it is now. Don’t put it off! The theme of this Yearbook is one to make you think about you and time, and God, and eternity. = Take time to do that now. Yours in Christ, Ben Boxum, Superintendent
