Superintendent Dear Class of '59 lf you can overlook the claim of possessiveness, you are really l'my first class. We started at L.C.H.S. together in September, '55, At that time, June of '59 seemed like a long way off. Yet the time has passed rapidly. It is a good thing that we blaze markers along the path of time. This fine school annual is a very fitting trail blazer. You anticipate its future worth by calling it the llKey to the Past. Congratulations to you for this worthy publication. Viewing the course of your lives from this point of time, the 1958-59 school year, there is a road marker which is more prominently in view. This sign says, l'Graduation from Christian High, the Key to the Future. We congratulate you in that you have reached the end of an educational program the goal of which has been to Let the Word of God dwell in you richly in all Wisdom. That objective is the Key to all of Time and Eternity. Congratulations and God bless you. Ever Yours in Christ, Mark Vander Ark 7

Missing: Pele Enfield. School Board Dear Graduates of 1959, The school board wishes to express their hearty congratulations upon your graduation from Lynden Christian High. You have reached an important milestone in your lives. As each of you go on your respective ways may you ever be faithful to your Lord and Savior. We read in Proverbs 3:6 mln all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct thy paths. First of all we must acknowledge Him within our hearts as our Creator, our Benefactor, our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, Then we shall not find it difficult to recognize Him in all our undertakings. As young people you have serious choices to make in life concerning your vocation, your friends, and your life partners. We must desire to do what is pleasing in God's sight for only that will receive divine blessing. May the words of this passage of Scripture be a challenge to each one of you as you journey through this life and may you be ever loyal to the ideals for which your parents, by God's grace, established this school. Be ever aware of your responsibility to uphold and further strengthen the cause of Christian education as a very important part in the building of God's kingdom. Are you ready to dedicate your life to Him? May God bless you and keep you close to Him always. 6 The School Board, Jim Van Andel, president
