As we read about these ieats oi siciii and en- durance we cannot heip hut come to the conciusion that yentures oi this kind, cannot be accompiished on a moment' s notice or on an impuise hut instead they need careiui consid- eration and months, yes, sometimes years oi preparation. in order to be reasonabiy certain oi success it is wise among many things to he acquainted with the terrain to he trayeied upon, acquire the necessary equipment and provisions, but most important to empioy a guide who is experienced and can be trusted to iead under any circumstance which might arise. in ciimhing iiie' s mountain our needs are not uniiice the mountain ciimhers oi today. To keep affairs running smoothly committees were appointed to take care of chapel services and assembly programs. Several special assemblies were arranged, and as a bonus, films were shown at noon-hours. The Student Council was also respon- sible for organizing and supporting a voluntary organization for putting out a school paper.
