OAQQ WOOZY In August 1972, we the class of 1976 entered LHS. We started something that dreams were made of, that lives are built on, but it wasn ' t a dream . . . It was reality! Beginning our Freshman year, we were led by Pres. - Roger Foutch; V.-Pres. - Debra Perry; Sec. - Diane Dossett; and Treas. - Kaye Owens. Our class favorites were Diane Dossett and Roger Foutch. Student Council Rep. were Sam Coleman and Jeff Turner. Nancy Koier, Kaye Owens, and Debi Standridge cheered the B team on to victory; and we were represented by six members on the District 1 Champion Football Team. We contributed four members to the B Team basketball squad. We had 10 members in the FHA and 4 in the Library Club. As our Sophomore year arrived, we became better acquainted with the school , and we were involved in more activities . For the second consecutive year Roger Foutch led as Pres . ; David Felton - V.-Pres.; Kaye Owens - Sec; and Chuck Crossman - Treas. Monty Wilder, Rosena Price, and Eric Washington swept the popu- larity polls when they were elected class favorites. We had 4 B Team cheerleaders and eight members on the 1974 Class A - Dis- trict 1 - Champion Football Team. We contributed six members to the B Team basketball squad, and Fred Bussey moved up to A Team. Three were on the baseball team, and Woody Collins
