were inducted into the Beta Club. There were 9 in the Speech and Drama Club as well as 9 in Cho- rus, and 4 in FHA. Jim Falls got it together in the Projection and Library Clubs and there were 8 class members in the band, with Judy Wier serving as Treasurer. James Slusher repeated as Honor Student . Time trucked on , and we were Juniors . Lisa Gilbert guided us through the year as President , aided by Frank Sizemore, Vice-President, Judy Wier, Secretary, and Sharon Petty grue, Treasurer. The dispositions of Lisa Gilbert and Jeff Ratchford gave them the honor of being class favorites. The Golden Bulldogs, Region IV, Class A runners-up, had 10 Juniors on their roster. A Team Cheerleaders were Mossie Coleman and Lisa Gilbert. Varsity basketball involved 6 Juniors, baseball 9 , and the golf team 2 . James Slusher was the annual staff representative , as well as the Honor Student for the third con- secutive year. Club participation increased, with 5 Juniors in FHA, 10 in FT A, 4 in the Library Club, 3 in the Projection Club, 8 in the Speech and Drama Club, 15 in the L Club, and 4 in the National Honor Society. Dotty Mackey was inducted into the Beta Club, and James Slusher and Frank Sizemore were representatives at Boys ' State, while Lisa Gilbert and Karen Garris went to Girls ' State. The Beta Club celebrated a major victory in electing Joey Vicini to the office of Ken- tucky State Vice-President. American History Awards went to James Slusher and Lisa Gilbert. Man Clark and James Slusher made the ALL- CVC team in football. While Forrst Pearson was placed on the ALL- 13th Region team in basketball. Around the corner are the unknown days of tomorrow . Who knows the future that they will bring? Do we fear these impending days? Or are we just afraid that we cannot relive the past? Ah, the past! Four Golden, glorious years; years that will never recur. Even more, these years contained for us in every fleeting moment , something special . . . something all our own !
