P-R-l-D-E, we've got Vike Pride, Lynbrook rules, uh huh! This familiar cheer may not have sparked any fantastic thought processes while being yelled in the stands at a football or basketball game, but words are wildly significant. Lynbrook students do have pride in their school. Class competitions, at the rallies, at lunch time, and during homecoming week promoted the indi- vidual class 's spirit. This resulted in the Most Spirited Class banner circulating throughout the year. The al- ways-smiling spiritleaders spent their time encourag- ing enthusiasm in everyone. Students were always will- ing to support the many clubs and organizations at school lOf course it helps when M8M's, gummy bears, or chocolate bars are includedl. Developing spirit does not require practice, and there is No Experience Neces- sary . . . all it takes is pride. 1. PaintAnyone? L ynbrook 's new club, The Creative Arts Lab, sparks spirit while practically eliminating the shelf life of the powdered paint in the cove. 2. While cheering them on, Kristen Green was intently watching the varsity football team. 3. Enthusiasm started for the seniors when the parking lot became conservative, yet classy. 4. Work is a four-letter word-unless it means supporting your class. Janice Thayer, Christine Simoni, Cathy Ashbrook, take time to paint scenery for homecoming week. 5.
