But his greatest joy was golf, as shown by a record of four years on that team. Business ROBERT DRUM Ace St. John's Prep School lost a great ball handler when Ace came to Lynbrook in 1934. He was connected with the football team for two years, was one of the big five of the basketball team and played varsity baseball in 1936. Yale University KENNETH DUPBEY Dup Dup employed his talents as a marksman in both the Rifle and Archery Clubs for the threehyears following his entrance from East Rockaway Junior High. rwtling, bowling, and the Hi-Y Club occupied the remainder of his time. , Avuzlor Mayfy MARIE J EAN DUYs'rEns Mary was a member of the Chess Club, the Girls' Glee Club, the Dramatic Club, and various Class Night Committees. Lynn Basketball seems to have been Maril n's athletic sport during her high school years. Ever season lound her a member of an intramural team and as one oil, the basketball squad she supported her class in the Class Night of 1935. Business Lyn Elinor's dramatic contributions consisted of four years in the Dramatic Club and a lead in the Junior Play. Her name was also connected with the Glee Club, Press Club, and Class Night, along with track, hiking, and management of varsity basketball. Slale College Tinhorn Tinhom was a member of the varsity bowling team as well as an active participant in intramural football and ping pong. His extra-curricular activities also included the Science an Press Clubs. New York Universily MARILYN DE NYSE ELINOR ELIZABETH DIBBLE Tnoms DILLIGAN ARTHUR L. DIXON . Dick Dick took part in track, football, bowling, wrestling, intramural basketball, baseball, and archery. He played in the band, and belonged to the Press Club, Dramatic Club, and Science Club, the Boys' Chorus, and the Hi-Y. College J EANNETTE DONALDSON Judy Judy, the Editor of this Yearbook, helped organize the Ping Pong Club and the Girls' Hi-Y, of which she is president, besides going out for track and intramural basketball. Bea BEATRICE ANN'E'l'I'E ELTERMAN Bea's patience was rewarded when, after practising industriously every afternoon, she made varsity ping pong. In addition, she was an aquatic member, a tennis player, an archer, and a student of photography in the Camera Club. Adelphi College Ev IRWIN EVANS Irwin ranked as one of the finest scholars of the class of 1936. Aside from studies he was active in the intramural program, giving his attention to football, baseball and basketball, not to mention handball and archery. College Shirl SHIRLEY EVANS The Archery Club claimed Shirley's interest for the entire folu' seasons. She was a member of the Roller Skating Club in 1934, and 1935, and she went out for girls' swimming and tennis in the spring of 1936.
