It is a very formal occasion with cocktails, mixed by Tom Morrow and consumed by Jon Bassette, served in the oval office of the nation’s new president Tim O'Kay. Scott Wilson, Tim’s vice, also doubles as part of the sanitation department. He has shot all of Tim’s over 2000 vetoes in the basket giving him a new record in his league. Michele Mussot took a leave of absence as Secretary of State to take care of her little Wilson babies, which were all born dribbling. John Valentine is sitting in a comer criticizing the music. He suggests for the next reunion he supply the music. Krista Yott rushes in the door trying to catch her breath and says, “It’s the Kiddie Korps they’re after me.” Bill Forness, as he was when he was a senior, is still in college. He tells everyone he has a Ph.D. in nearly every topic. Denise Piche, now president of the Dale Carnegie Corporation, is having a conversation with Amy Belcher. Amy learned how to listen as a psychologist. Denise is doing all the talking, isn’t that a switch. Tammy Pettey is talking about her new critically acclaimed book “The Happy Hairdresser.” Former student nurses Blythe Whattam, Lori Orvis, and Lorna Dollinger are running around trying to take everyones’ pulses. Mike Rickard and Tammy Darrow are talking. It seems as though Tammy is telling Mike about this distant planet she visits where redheads are worshipped. Steve Fields and Jim Hayes still live in Chaumont and are quibbling over who will pay for the gas. Barb Darrow and Dave Gosier were a little late, they had trouble finding a babysitter for their 14 kids. Chico Alvarado has become a tycoon. He has made a real killing selling underwear called Chico’s cheek covers. Amelia FitzPatrick is now starring in a soap opera called “Emma’s Dilemas.” The show is very successful and everyone is hounding her for her autograph. Kevin Thompson could not attend because his elves went on strike and he has to make toys for his journey on Christmas Eve. Sue Brown has now found out she was legal heir to Gramma Brown’s Baker Beans. She of course is sup- plying the vegetable entree for the dinner. Paul Fournier is sitting in a comer mourning over the loss of one of his model airplanes. He says this will slow dow n his plans to become a millionaire in his model airplane crop dusting service. Barry Shea could also not attend. He was busy making a new Washington monument. He really put his vocational schooling to work. Ginger Becker is still treasurer only now with the country and is running after Tim trying to tell him the party is 38c over budget. He ignores her and tells everyone to move into the formal dining room for the elaborate dinner planned. 17 Pres. D. Gosier Treas. L. Although the varsity squad was only able to accumulate a 3-11 record, the squad was very competitive in all of their matches and showed a great deal of improvement as the season progressed. The J.V. squad was led by co- captains Kim Donaldson and Jo Alvarado. Other members of the J.V. were Melaine Jones, Angie Alvarado, Lisa Walker and Paula Neuman. And when all is said and done, Scott Wilson will join one of the most exclusive athletic clubs in New York State. The sensational Indian senior, already among the most prolific scorers in Frontier League history, is on the verge of becoming only the 1 1th player in state annals to go over the 2,000 point mark for his career. He's 27 points shy of the standard before taking on the LaFargeville Red Knights in a B Division clash. And with a normal evening's work (he's averaging 38.3 ppg in league play this year). Wilson may vault to as high as eighth place on the all time scoring list. Bill Young of Angelica is currently in 10th spot all- time with 2,006 points gained from 1961 64. Next in line is Dwayne Johnson of New York City's Mater Christi, who scored 2.014 points from 1977 81. Wilson, who has four league games left, at least two playoff contests and probably one or two sec- tional games, is also within striking distance of the all- time league mark held by Belleville's Jim Stock well. The Black Knight star net- ted 2,018 points in a fabulous career that extend- ed from 1965-69, good enough for fifth spot on the state list. Tony Crandall's total of 2,326, garnered at Baldwin High School in New York City from 1970- 73, looks out of sight but Wilson may still have a shot at Nate Cannon's second place figure of 2,262. He is a former Rome School for the Deaf star. Projected over the rest of the year, Wilson should end up with approximately the same total. Rounding out the top 10 all-time scorers are Tony Traver (Greenwich, 1976- 80, 2,189), Al Edwards (Greenport, 1968-72, 2,117), Albert King (Fort Hamilton-NYC, 1973-77, 2,071), Anthony Hargraves (Our Saviour Lutheran-NYC, 1977-81, 2,038) and Jim Manos (Po- ly Prep-NYC, 1974-77, 2,036). Wilson's Lyme team has also been on a tear of late, winning six straight games to take over sole possession of second place at 8-2. One of their losses was at LaFargeville, 74-59, a game in which W ilson net- ted 29 points. OVERTIME Foul line Frenzy. INDIANS ON THE WRR PRTH and up for two! Textbook Technique. Ball control around the defense. Tension at the Foul Line. Congratulations Scott!! Game Ball JV’S IN ACTION The Junior Varsity team had three thrilling home games, defeating Sandy Creek, Sackets Harhor by one point and previously unbeaten LaFargeville by seven points. The most exhilarating game played was against Sackets Harbor which was won with only seconds left to play and a driving lay up was made by Mike Towne. The team ended its season with a twelve and two record and a second place finish.
