CU Witt We, the class of 1955 of Lyme Central School, being of sound mind and memory, and considering the uncertainty of this world, do hereby dispose of all worldly goods and properties and declare this to be our last will and testament. First, we leave our homeroom in the library to the incoming Junior class. We leave our plans for our Senior trip to both Washington and New York City to the next small class. I, Calvin Becker, leave my spot on the bench to anyone who wants it. I, Lawrence Comlns, leave my ability to keep the teachers on their toes to Rita Benney. I, Norman Gee. leave my anti-social tendencies to David Heasley. I, Patricia Haley, leave my rushing to the Post Office every noon to Lois Quencer. I, Joan Klzzer. leave my job of making out menus and running them off to Bethel Brown. I, Ethel Lear, leave my Shorthand book to Elizabeth Gosier. I, Marykate Mahan, leave ray ability to spell to Roy Bevens. I, Sandra Mumford, leave my ability to laugh in class to Carolyn Dean. I, Elsie Reed, leave my place on the cheering squad to Susan Richards. I, Gretchen Wilder, leave my library work to Genevieve Loomis. ADVICE TO THE SENIORS We advise Calvin Becker to keep practicing basketball- Maybe he can be with the Nats someday. We advise Larry Comlns to become advertising manager for the Texaco Company. We advise Norman Gee to work out a Gee theory so he can take Einstein’s place. We advise Pat Haley to become America’s first woman tobacco auction- eer. She seems to have the talent for It. We advise Joan Klzzer to keep her pleasant disposition. We advise Ethelmarle Lear to study hard in college. Those fourth graders can ask some tricky questions. We advise Marykate Mahan to develop her ability for calling square dances. Callers are needed on Midwestern Hayride . We advise Sandra Mumford to become one of Arthur Murray's teachers. We advise Elsie Reed not to lose her school spirit. We advise Gretchen Wilder to go Into television. She looks good on the screen.
