Reid The Student Council, with ten seniors, eight juniors, six sophomores, and four freshmen, has held regular meetings every Thursday during the sixth period. Among the important activities of the year were the management of the Athletic Association drive, the regulation of traffic in the corridors, the adoption of the point system for regulating extracurricular activities, the canvassing for the Red Cross, the selling of defense stamps, the assistance given in organizing the school for air-raid drills, the conducting of the intra-school emergency war fund drive for the Red Cross, and the sponsoring of three very successful and original sport dances. 29
