It was an interesting battle all season as five teams participated in intramural football action. The tied standing between teams Two and Four was broken in a playoff game when Ray Akita trapped Greg Graves in the end zone for a safety, giving Team Two the championship title. This fall for the first time, the girls launched an all-out attack on the gridiron as football players. Flag football, which was often inter- preted as tackle football by the girls, was furiously played with four teams, each team representing a class. At the season's end and after many bruises and blows, the Sopho- mores took championship honors with Juniors, Freshmen and Seniors following. Girls' Inframural Foofball l B.
