■0 f ■ LYKENS CHRISTIAN SCHOOL OVERCOMERS—1976 AT MIRACLE REVIVAL CHURCH LYKENS, PA ’’Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom. ’ ’ Proverbs 4:7. i FOREWORD We, the Senior Class, wish to express our gratefulness to the Lord Jesus Christ for the opportunity to be a part of a church oriented school where we can receive a well-balanced education. A good education is essential as we all know, but one with a Christian background is of the utmost importance. We should not only be concerned with educating the mind alone, but also the whole man. God made us in His own image - body, soul, spirit; therefore, an education with the Bible is more complete and beneficial. A Christian education will make better citizens, mayors, governors, presidents, etc., and will help to put our government and country back to the great strength it once had when it was blessed by God. This is why we, The Seniors, are proud to have been a part of Lykens Christian School. May God richly bless this great endeavor of Pastor and Mrs. Klase and others in training children to be wholesome citizens that will stand steadfast to God’s divine plan. Remember, Jesus is coming soon, so your life will count most in the realm of the spiritual and eternal things. It was good to have the privilege of sharing part of our lives with you.
