Ik Sinceiely, Llndai erkins Editor- n Chief Alpha Sigma Phi was founded at Yale University on December 6, 1845. It is the tenth oldest men ' s general fraternity. The Tomahawk, started in 1847, is the oldest existing fraternity magazine which each member receives for life. Alpha Sigma Phi has over 60 chapters at colleges and universities throughout the U.S.A. At Lycoming College, Gamma Rho Chapter was founded May 22, 1%5. This charter was granted when Alpha Gamma Upsilon ran into problems and was forced to merge. The seniors of 1972 have enjoyed a successful year. Chapter government was improved, and the sports program was revamped. Some old traditions were brought back such as the Founder ' s Day Banquet. Pinball and hockey became chapter favorites. The Homecoming float was our proudest achievement. We wish the seniors of Alpha Sig a successful and happy future and hope the underclassmen continue to uphold the goals and purposes of Alpha Sigma Phi.  Il9 ' ' fMlH MCMtfL I KACMJI OMMlCS L mWLlA M I atOMM 1 • ' •KOi ' t «r rMC T IMMtr MUL • VOUINTI UMIMO • MYM RliSStLL C OM«R Mm  CMOWLCY Wtim H HCKC lONDCII (WCOOMY W tUSSt IKCMAtl € MALOSfl tUd H SmOH ' OA ' PAVl ILK LMANllS N l UAN AAiSI H ..HI AM , .IS « ' ■■• ■AWIS S I  VVC4 SAMUEL C HOLDEN JOHN B DAVIS I DAVID J JONES DETLEF KERN JAMES E. This year KDR expanded its social program to encompass such activities ranging from a road rally to a three mile pledge marathon. The Brothers of KDR also sponsored a Christmas Party for the underpriviledged children of the Williamsport community. KDR also took first place honors with the winning float at homecoming.
