A year of time! — Whittier How c|uitkly this year rushed by I The rapid suc- cession of events kept the watchful eye of the camera busy trying to catch the active students. But in this book are the results for leisurely reminiscinjr : the con- fusing Freshman Week and registration, those never- ending classes and mystery books, posh dances, tough sports, and dorm life. It is hoped, however, that in the future these unfor- gettable memories will bring to mind not only the ma- terial incidences at Lycoming but also the intangible things we have acquired that can ' t be shown directly in pictures — the Lycoming we will carry with us and share with others. These things may be an appreciation for some art, ; . new method of study, or an ideal or be- lief that we have developed here that will guide us through life.
