Our first solo social affair was the annual Junior Ha1lowe'n dance in October and we also joined the Senior class as co-sponsors of the Junior Senior prom Ch Feb 28, 1951, our plq, 'One Wild Night, directed by Miss Dorothy Connolly, with Jeanne Phillips as student direcor, was a great dramtic triumph, In the cast were Regina Storz, Laverne Arcangeli, Patricia Oliver, Clark Smith, lhryanne Machinist, Grace Craig, Mary Ann Kozokas, Sandra Edwards, Audrey Kresge, Ruthanne Petro, Michael Petro, John Allen, Bernard Leandri, Harris Atherholt, Joseph Kurpis, Robert Gallagher, and Jack Sweetra 'AB 49 O S, q50 49 50 step in our journey toward paduation. Nevertheless, despite these handicaps the Luzerne team lost none of its fighting spirit and they entered each contest with a burning desire to win. Victories were not plentiful but Luzerne High School was in no way disgraced by the showing of the Luzerne Lion on the Valley's gridiron, sf .f KNE L T fi Y SHONK CFML K URPI KQLLE J MALUSKV o 4 -I MARTY PETROSKAS 30 4 X sr W, MF' ASST1 ATHERH .amz GRNENSK J- wf 'LL Cor-JN0 1951 52 SEASON RESULTS PA RASC 9RADy BS!!! fvk o A Q-.H 5 F 4 ' r L. The team has plenty of experience and batting power, and both the regulars and replacements have shown up well this spring.
