DEDICATION GEORGE V. GREGOR To a men among men, a man whose prin¬ ciples compare with those of the highest caste of men, a man whose devotion to his work has gone unceasingly for more than forty-five years, a man whose great wisdom often lies hidden behind his unique modesty, to Mr; George V, Gregor, we, the class of 1964, ded¬ icate this annual. Looking back through the years, we will come lo realize the contribution of character he has endowed to each of us, as to hund- reds of our predecessors in this school. Were it not for Mr. Gregor, it is doubtful whether we would have these cherished walls to re¬ member, Our new school is not only a place of learning but a permanent tribute to our principal. In the building of this school, George Gregor often bore the brunt of uncalled for criticism Even knowing he was right, he bore this disapproval with dignity, always consid¬ erate enough to listen to everyone ' s opinion. He consistently turned the other cheek to in¬ sult and in this subtle manner won his issue. Let us also consider the charitableness with which Mr, Gregor has embellished his twenty six years as principal. His initial donation of S5Q0 first started the athletic program in this school. A man of great understanding, he is always willing to give a person a second chance. His patient nature has given all of us an equal opportunity to learn. Mr. Gregor is always the first to congratulate a person in recognition of an accomplishment, and with this he adds a spurt of inspiration. His humi¬ lity sets for us a rare example to follow. What other man of his position would humble him¬ self to lead a cheer before an entire assembly of students. It is not only the big things he has accomplished which make him so admir¬ able, but these countless little things which he has so often performed unnoticed. We offer this annual to you, Mr. Gregor, as a humble token of our high esteem, in hopes that it may compensate in some small way the great debt we owe you. Page Four
