F.F.A. Officers STANDING Mr Bhowialf, Instructor, O, ZciKer, G, Vinfcnt, R VandcnPi«». SEATED J James, D. Nsghom, S. Geieila, The F.F.A. has always stood for advancement in both the field of agriculture and social character. The Luxemburg chapter has always strived to install in its members the necessity of good farming practices, and the ability to live, learn, and be a credit fo society. These are brought about through the class room work and practical applications by means of the Farming Program. Our chapter has been continually striving to improve in all of these fields. We now have a very active Hog Improvement Program consisting of two major breeds, Our cm: and Chester White. Both breeds look top prizes at the local fair. More and more is being done in the dairy field, as this is the major income of farmers in this area. Our advisor not only has helped the members of F.F.A, with these programs, but farmers from this entire area. Animal judging teams have been entered in the Northeastern Livestock Exposition and Uni¬ versity of Wisconsin competition. Darrell Hermans rated top in meat judging at the fat stock show. Members have taken pari in F.F.A. speaking contests, and as in past years delegates will be sent fo the F.F.A. Convention at Green Lake. In correlation with Agriculture class room work, a good part of the time is spent in the shop as part of the practical application aspect where the students learn by doing. Thiriy
