LOVING —being tile oldest in the school; snow days; fun times with friends and family; weekends; a person who needs that little bit of affection you can give him; free moments to do what you want; knowing you always have someone there to turn to; the feeling of importance; liv- ing in a free country. HATING — weekends when there’s noth- ing to do; the enemy who killed your best friend in the war; criticism that's supposedly for your own good; perplexing problems that seem to have no answers; practice after practice for band, choir, wrestling, basketball, etc; having three tests all in one day; rumors that only give people something to talk about; a Monday morning when it's one of those days' the feeling of unimportance. a time to lone, and a time to hato; a time for mar, and a timt for peart. WAR — a long time fighting in a land where war was never declared; troubled times in Ireland; a seemingly inevitable reality. PEACE —when you're free of home - work, tests, and teachers during vaca- tions; when 7th graders can walk down the halls and not be scared of upperclass- men, when you've got nothing on your mind; after you've got a job done and you know you've done it well; when you can look at yourself and be happy with what you see.
