The 1970 Cross Country team, under the di- rection of Coach Arthur Schroeder once again proved to be outstanding. South became League Champions, with an ABC record of 6-0 and an overall record of ll wins and l loss. The sea- son saw LHSS 4th in the Hancock Invitational, 13th in the Beaumont Invitational and 5th in the South County District Meet. When John Baisch placed 23rd in the State meet, he ended a great season for the Cross Country Team. The faithful fans miss the excite- ment of the meets and are waiting for the start ofthe track season. Coach Schroeder and Butch Johnson, manager, talk over the results. Did we win?
