Students Upon entering nurses training, a new way of life and living in a new environment was encountered, and this experience required much ad- iustment. It provided a challenge for us, but as we advanced, we grew in stature and maturity, As the years passed the close association of class- mates entering training ripened into lasting and true friendships. Al- though our ways must eventually part, the fond memories and many friendships we've made will never be forgotten. 20

The long-care unit became an integral part of the hospital opera- tion. lt enjoys the full advantages of all the hospi1al's service depart- ments. Admission to the unit will be by the same process under which all other types of patients are admitted to the hospital, that is, by reserva- tion made through the family phy- sician.
