The student is trained how to sing properly. Units in the study of church liturgy and the instru- ments of the orchestra are in- cluded. Each year a symphony is studied so that the student is exposed to good music. Fresh- men music is the first step in training for the day when they will be in our junior-senior choir. This year there is a sep- arate class for freshmen boys and one for girls. It is easier to train the different voices with this arrangement. Our freshmen sang in the Christmas assembly and did a fine job. Mr. Lehmann is also the head of this group. FRESHMEN GIRLS' SEXTET, Seated: Linda Schwane, Ginny A1 bers, Barb Osborn.
