Both squads worked hard to accomplish this. This years varsity squad had only two returning from last years squad. Angie Meyer and Katrina Kosberg were two returning seniors. The other four, Dani 3 LaMette, Erin Broden, Trish Stelljes, and Jennifer Rudzinski, A were new to varsity cheering, but did a great job. The varsity squad performed several dance routines, and pulled NEA 5, together with the junior varsity squad to sponsor pep rallies A i yfgy for the basketball teams. .. Q r .. 43. , 2 -2.

This year our valedictorian was Shawn Marie Kelley. Shawn graduated with a 3.87 GPA on a 14.0 scale. She will be attending Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri and majoring in early childhood education. We wish her the best of luck in her future i and congratulations on being named valedictorian. I history of our school. Not because each person was special, but because we were the last group of students to have ties to the birth- place of Kansas City Lutheran School. There were so memories there and I'm each of us could tell pretty interesting and amusing stories about our freshmen year. Not only were we scared of not being accepted future and what was in store for us. Some things haven't changed. We are still wondering about our future, but we feel we can take the strikes that life throws at us. We thought there were pressures in high school, but wait untill the UReal Lifeu comes crashing down on us. Whenever that happens, Class of 1988, realize that As the year went on, the Senior class became closer to each other. And when our Senior Trip came around, we all looked forward to it with anticipation. Senior Trip was... um ...... interesting! Everyone, in some way or another, had a good time, whether your fun was laying out in the sun, being thrown into the pool or lake in sub-zero temperature, or dancing all night to the live band. We enjoyed every minute of the Lodge of the Four Seasons. We recommend that next year's Senior class go there--only if the Four Seasons was 9
