This was only the second year of baseball for Lutheran, and the Knights posted a 9-6 record, The season didn't end until the championship game of district play. The Knights lost to Concordia by only two runs. The Knights were 8-2 against TA schools. The Knights were led by seven seniors. Seniors John Boswell, Derrick McKinney, David Dodson, Scott Gordon, and Billy Haywood have played the last two seasons with the team, but the Knights were blessed with the talent of Russell LaRue and Alan Voss for the last season. The Knights can look forward to a promising future with the experience and talent gained by some of their younger players.

Soflboll Softball was a refreshing new sport for the Lady Knights.
