This year our student was Marcela Montanes from Colombia, South America. Marcie came to us with the eagerness needed to face America through the eyes of a LHS student. Over the year, she found new friends, a new sense of America and its language, and the way America's educational system works. With hard work and 'determination, Marcie handled this year like it was no problem. She plans on attending the University of Colombia in her home country and would like to come back to America for a visit soon. We will all miss her very much and we hope she always remembers LHSQ we will always remember her. Another service of the National Honor Society is sponsorinq
