Class of 1989 The Junior class of LHS-KC contains an assortment of personalities which combine to create an impression that is unforgettable. Their enthusiasm for life spills over into every activity of the day, beginning with the first hour bell. This enthusiasm may take shape in many forms. One form may be excessive talking or another form may be a spit ball flying through the air. Whatever the form, it speaks of vitality and non-stop energy that fills the halls and classrooms with the expectation of discovery around every corner. This class of 1989 is slowly learning what responsibility AMT is all about. Instead of their thoughts always being on ball games and dates, they are starting to think about where thei future is headed. Where are they going to live and how are they going to make it in college, are a couple of questions l' that are going through their minds at this time. what the future brings is a question that each Junior thinks about. ,v Juniors Christie Welch and Mark Mellott gladly sharing eachother's company. ,XV Q. 5. Many problems start to arise when one thinks of Prom. Where? Why? How? You really start sweating it out when there is no money in the bank. Much time and money are put into one night. But when that night arrives, every- one can feel the magic and that somehow makes everything worth- while. Preparing for Prom can be a hair raising experience. With every problem occurring at once and very little time to fix it, one wonders why such a problem must happen.
