Meeting once every two weeks, StuCo dis- cussed fundraisers, food drives, social activities, and rule changes that affec- ted LHS students. Over S300 were raised from the Jewelry sales in November that, combined with leftover money from last year, created a sizable fund. Much of this was spent on the splendid Homecoming Dance in February. A result of attending Metro Leader- ship Day in December was the idea of a Christmas home- room decorating contest held later that month. Student Council's service project was a food drive in April that benefited the hungry people of Kansas City.
