Mary McMichael grabs a quick after school snack as she waits for her ride. In all things, in all activities, there seemed to be a tie that bound us all together with a common goal and common effort. The tie that binds was rather graphically illustrated during one of our daily chapel services, f t ' 'ii . 471 any y , l , l r . i V A . t 24' . 1-X IVY. A O 4 h , , .. 53' t , , if I if-I

UNCH In any school lunch is everyb0dy's favorite activity. Most days, of course, students and staff ate lunch in the cafeteria, but when the Weather turned warm, many of the students chose to eat outside, picnic style. Tim Smith, Pam Stewart, Julie Leimkuehler, Susan Kleist, and Christine Hedberg sure seemed to enjoy the warm sun and fresh air, Very often, teachers like Mr. Becher, Mrs. Sailors, and Miss Boye used their lunch tim to discuss school activities as well as to socialize with each other. ,, Q i, p .,,,5, ,, f1,j.4,7,' ' I 136459: f- ,. DANCE. DANCE. V,-A D.J. Jeff Barker, assisted by Tim Smith, spun the chatter and whirled the platters at each of Lutheran High School's Student Council sponsored dances. The dances were an ideal opportunity for many of the students who lived in different parts of the city to get together for fun and frolic. Clinton Clark, below, posed with a quest he brought to one of the dances. Shandy Ludwig and Randy Stohs really rocked away the night. Even a romantic ballad in the arms of lovely ladies could not deter Ken Smith and Matt Ludwig from snapping sharply to attention and rendering an obligatory Benny Hill salute. GSSM--M , 33' f rl?
