'N 9 YS S 1 PRINCIPAL NORM J UNGHANS The FIRST! How many times haven't we heard that, said that, thought that, accomplished that during this past year! Traditions were formed -- MAROON AND GOLDg KNIGHTSg THE CHAPEL OF THE MIGHTY FORTRESSg DAILY CHAPEL. We came together from an area that could TRULY be called GREATER KANSAS CITY. Travel became a way of life for us. We were black and white, of various backgrounds and previous schools. ' Our teachers came from Minnesota, Florida, Colorado, St. Louis, and Kansas City. We came as individuals. We became, through our common experiences of FIRSTS, a caring community, a family. LUTHERAN HIGH SCHOOL! 1 Mr. Norm Junghans, pictured above, chats with students and after-school visitors. Mr. Q Junghans' enthusiasm and good humor were a welcome .1 refresher and mental boost at W the end of a hard day. Mrs. Vanita Heil, our patient and stalwart school secretary and office manager, helped keep us well-organized and on - schedule through rain and 2 N shine, blizzard or tornado '- ' N 1 ' ' watches.
