'JUST BETWEEN YOU AND ME' Beth Mannino 'Just Between You and Me,n provided an appropriate theme for the couples that attended this year's Junior- Senior Prom. Held at the Clock Tower Inn Convention.Center, the prom also provided the seniors with a time for reflection on their high school years. Couples danced to the nusic of 'Anthem,u on May 21, 1983, from eight until midnight. Throughout the evening, they refreshed themselves at the punch fountain and snack table. Parents visited the festivities and took pic- tures. Contrary to previous years, couples rushed home to get plenty of sleep. This was in preparation for post prom activities which included a special morning chapel and a trip to Great America. To finance this big event, the junior class worked hard to raise sufficient funds to produce a successful prom. They held a spaghetti supper, sold cheese and sausage, and served lunch for the students. A great deal of pre- ' paration and planning culminated in a wonderful evening full of friends, fun, and memories. GET YOUR HOT LUNCHES HERE! These are words that well describe the members of Ladies Auxiliary. The hard work describes all the time and labor put into the Holiday Ba- zaar and the Crusaders Thrift Shop. These fund raisers show much deter- mination to help Lutheran High School with their debt. The 1982-83 Holiday Bazaar was held on November 13, and showed great profit. The ladies put many hours into the making of food and crafts. These products were sold along with donations from churches and families, and the profits were well worth the effort. Another money maker, also being a service, is the Crusader Thrift Shop. This Ugarage-salen type of organization helps the community along with provid- ing work study grants for students of Lutheran High School. Retail items. are sold at the Crusader Thrift - Shop and the profits go to the school. The products sold are all donated from the staff and friends of L.H.S. Although these are important fund raisers, the Ladies Auxiliary helps L.H.S. in another way. Every Thursday, the women serve lunch to the and falculty of L.H.S. These include such menus as tacos, spagetti, lasagna, hamburgers, and chicken sand- wiches. The women make these lunches and are sometimes taken for granted by the students. The ladies put in their time for the benefit of the school. Thank-you ladies for what you've done and keep up the good work! 21 CRUSADER AIDERS Rob Davidson Crusader aiders to the rescue!
