ffyi The staff of the 1959 Aureole has chosen the school motto as the theme of this yearbook. The motto is derived from Psalm ll9:l05, Lucerna Pedibus Mei, verbum Dei, which reads The Word of God is the lamp unto my feet. Lutheran High School is founded on this proposition: That only the God of all wisdom can give light on the paths which carry men through this- world and lead on to eternity.
