Dramatics Club One doesn't hear too much about the Dramatics Club, but behind the scenes it is a very busy club, carry- ing on a full program. ln their meet- ings the Club has studied panto- miming, play directing and correct techniques of acting. They have even worked on the first act of Thornton Wilder's, Our Town. The public has seen some evidence of the Club through the skits pre- sented in the Fall Fun Festival Va- riety Show. Art Club lt is almost certain that passers- by will find at least one person in the Art Room during every period of the day. lt's not hard to guess vvhy either. The Art Room is well equipped with proper lighting, lots of working space, paints, brushes, pens, rulers - everything an artist needs. Most of the signs around school are products from this Art Room, made by Art Club members. It won't be surprising if someday a really fine artist emerges from the Art Club. Seated: Mr. W. Driving School Once again this year the school, in coopera- tion with the Grand River Chevrolet Company, has offered students the chance to take driving lessons, There were two classes, one each semes- ter. Penny Drive The Penny Drive was organized in 1953. Since that time it has come a long way. its purpose is to collect any stray pennies one might have. This is done in all home rooms so that every student has a chance to contribute. Parents and friends have a chance to add to the pile at the Fall Fun Festival, and any other time they wish to, for that matter, By March, 1956, the Club had collected S3, O67.l9!
