They work hard and do their practicing during the activity period. The String group is a very small group of students who enioy playing the stringed instruments. They made fine showings at the many toot- ball and basketball games for which they played. This year they were hosts to the Tri- Lu-Hi Music Festival presented by the com- bined bands of Cleveland, Fort Wayne and Detroit Lutheran High Schools. The Concert was held on April 14, T956 in the auditorium of Denby High School. The Band worked very hard and deserves a good share of the credit for the high spirit that prevailed during the past year at games and pep sessions.
