They made fine showings at the many toot- ball and basketball games for which they played. This year they were hosts to the Tri- Lu-Hi Music Festival presented by the com- bined bands of Cleveland, Fort Wayne and Detroit Lutheran High Schools. The Concert was held on April 14, T956 in the auditorium of Denby High School. The Band worked very hard and deserves a good share of the credit for the high spirit that prevailed during the past year at games and pep sessions. Blatt. 1 This years Junior Choir, consisting of 9th and lOth graders, numbers around 75 voices. The students are trained in music's finer points, so as to meet the requirements of the Senior Choir. At the annual Christmas concerts, the choir sang a few selections. Several other places where they sang during the year were the Vogue Theater on Good Friday, school chapel services, and W. They work hard and do their practicing during the activity period. The String group is a very small group of students who enioy playing the stringed instruments.
