Senior Choir Music is the child of prayer, the companion of religion. - Chateaubriand Once again the Senior Choir has had a very busy schedule, The usual number of concerts for local congregations was above average. The annual Christmas Concerts were successfully held at Bethany and Covenant Churches. For the second time, the Choir participated in the Musical Festival which includes the high schools of Garden City, Romulus, Roosevelt, and Inkster. The Festival helps to build closer relations among schools. On their tour this year, the Choir visited several cities in Michigan including Alpena and Rogers City. The tour proved to be fun as well as an inspiring experience for all. ln addition to this, the group made three television appearances - on CKLW in the fall, on the educational Channel 56 at Christ- mas time, and on WXYZ for a Good Friday service. Frequently, the Choir also sang for Chapel Services at school. All in all, it was a very successful year, lst Row: C. Orlow, A. Minth, N. Gilson, J. Spavin, L. Schlack, J. Goehmann, N. Sielotf, S.
