Roger Aumann President Robert Dungy Vice-President Margaret Baden Secretary As we, the Seniors of the Class of 1956, find ourselves about to leave Luth- eran High, this time not for a summer only, but for good, many thoughts pass through our minds . , . of college, jobs, the future, and most of all, of the happy days spent within these walls. We are 'the first class to both begin and end our four years here at 5040 Joy Road. We began our stay at D.L.H.S. with a chapel service in the auditorium. From then on there followed countless hours of fun, learning and working. ln our Fresh- man year we got acquainted with other students through the Freshman - Sopho- more Mixer . . . and autumn saw us operating our Fishpond at the Fall Fun Fes- tival. Our second year at Lutheran High found us coming into our own as far as activities go. We sponsored a hayride, and our assembly, based on the twelve months of the year with an appropriate act for each month, was presented and deemed a success. As Juniors, we presented the play, The Little Dog Laughed, rated outstand- ing by all who attended. In the winter months the class got together to go tobog- gaing. This time we chose Outer Space as our assembly theme and created an effective background to add to the atmosphere. Our fourth and last year seemed to slip by the fastest with graduation pre- parations, class trip, pictures and announcements, and all the last-minute details to take care of. We presented another successful play, Mr. Peepers, and an out- standing assembly, having a Western theme, with all the scenery, costumes, acts and regalia to go with it. But most important of all of the things that we have learned through these years, is that we have come to know Christ better. Many of the things we have learned here at Lutheran High will be carried with us throughout life. We truly feel that we have here built a firm foundation for the future. 14 Class Officers and History Mr. Earle Beck Advisor Geraldine Jankowskv Treasurer
