During the 'l955 season the Leo- pards garnered the first athletic trophy in the school's history by sharing the cham- pionship of the Metro-Suburban Confer- ence with lnkster Roosevelt. The overall record for the season was 8 wins and 3 losses. Included in the victory column was a non-league win over Melvindale, the eventual class B finalists in the invitational tournament at Battle Creek. The outlook for this year's team is good, depending on the discovery of some pitching talent, The 1956 schedule definitely is the toughest ever faced by a Leopard team. Along with the eight conference games, the Leopards non- league schedule will include six games with class A schools. Included are two games each with Redford Union and Austin, and single games with Cody and De La Salle. Aumann in the stretch Its 6 hit' Don Erving 96
