Bach goes over the huddle In 1951 track was offered at Lutheran High for the second year. Under the supervision of Mr. Ruth, the track team had their first complete schedule. To start the year they met Roosevelt and Allen Park in a triangular meet at Belle Isle. Lutheran placed second. They then bounced back to swamp St. Joe and Melvindale. Other teams they ran against were Romulus, Inkster, and Lowrey, to whom they lost. Prospects for a successful team in 1952 are brighter than they ever have been in Lutheran's brief track history. Although they are taking on some of the best suburban teams, such as Lincoln Park, Ink- ster, Lowrey, and Garden City, hopes are bright for the cindermen of Lutheran in 1952. Catch me! I'm falling!
