Entertainment Committee Rena Moeller - Chairman. Entertainment-Project Committee Rich Vedder - Chair- man. Publicity-Project Committee Carol Ahlschwede - Chair- man. One of the goals of the 1962-1963 senior class has been to be more organized. This particular senior class has tried to distinguish itself by being the most organized senior class from LHSC. Four commit- tees, instead of the usual three, were developed to increase efiiciency. However, we can't take all of the credit. Our faculty sponsors have greatly aided and guided us. Still, the students have been ex- tremely energetic and hardworking. The Entertain- ment committee sponsored the successful Mardi Gras party. The Entertainment-Project committee were all excellent buzzbook salesmen. The Publicity committee has made the senior bulletin board a valuable source of senior newsg historical, baby pictures, and educational, college. The Publicity- Project committee has creditably recorded our color- Publicity Committee Carol Guehert - Chairman. ful history for posterity. These and many other ef- forts of the committees and sponsors have really been appreciated. EEE

YVe seniors of 1963 look back to September 1959 when we began our four-year-long journey through LHSC. The L'Get Acquainted Party first brought a group of shy, unacquainted students together as the freshman class. In our class elections we chose our officers: Gary Ellerbrock, president, Paul Golba, vice president, Lauren Black, secretary, and Pete Hoyer, freshman representative. We braved homework, joined in extracurricular activities, met our Hrst school picnic, and finally emerged as sophomores. Led by our officers: Pete Hoyer, president, Paul Golba, vice president, Karen Lee, secretary: and Jim VVolf, sophomore representative, we began our sec- ond year. As veterans we ventured forth into teams, cheerleading, chorus, GAA, and various school clubs. Looking forward to the responsibilities of our junior year, we staged a class car wash and had a picnic just for fun. With our new title, junior, came many responsi- bilities. Preparation for the junior-Senior Banquet was the foremost class activity and working hard for us were our president, Pete Hoyer, our vice president, Jim Wlolf, our secretary, Miriam Lang, our treasurer, 4 ' Q Class Officers. Left to Right: Walt Warneck, Senior Representative g Karen Lee, Secretary-Treasurer, Pete Hoyer, President, Frank Ollinger, Vice- President. Karen Lee, our representative, Lajren Black, and the sales and banquet committees. lBy winning the magazine campaign and by selling chocolate, and chocolate, and more chocolate, we successfully fi- nanced the Roaring Twenties Banquet. The dining hall of Concordia Seminary was amazingly trans- formed into our Hspeak-easy. With the banquet past we looked enthusiastically to our senior year. The travels of a senior class we found to be di- versely packed with activity. Chosen to be class offi- cers were Pete Hoyer, president, Frank Ollinger, vice president, Karen Lee, secretary, and Walt Warneck, representative. We heartily welcomed to our class Glaudia Schmidt, foreign exchange student from West Germany. Studies, college, and vocation de- cisions, work on Crusader and Courier staffs and on senior committees, rings and pictures, and class parties all contributed to a busy year as seniors. Upon graduation our journey through LHSG was com- pleted. In the future our memories will be souvenirs, our education will be a foundation, and the Master of our school will always be our Savior. kw,,,,,g?Q gi l ,M Class Sponsors, Lett to right - Mr. Visser, Miss Guenther, Mr. Wallace.
