Many of us have pu f sweat, toil, pai nd sometimes blood in trying to become physically fit, and what do we get in return? . . . A lot of sore muscles!!!!! COOKS: From left to right - Mrs. Clara Weber Behind the scenes in our school, several groups of people contribute a great deal of effort to keep up itis maintenance. Our custodians pick up after us and keep our school building in the best possible physical condi- tion, both inside and outside. The kitchen staff works hard to provide us daily with a hot lunch and then clean up the cafeteria after each lunch period. Unfortunately we are not always aware of the great effort which goes into the maintenance of our school. We all owe a great deal of gratitude to these hardworking people 'for their services. 16 Mrs. Ethel Kroeter, Mrs. Bertha Longhauser, Hen- ry G. Hartwig. CUSTODTANSZ From left to right 7 Edgar E.. OFFICE STAFF Inside the front offices of our school are three very hard working people. These individuals must keep a record of absences and tardies, type the daily bulletin, answer the phone and many other duties such as these. Without these women to do the heavy office work, our school would be very limited in its work. Miss Lois Kasten, Mrs. Betty Mueller, Mrs. Ruth Roschke. BOOKKEEPING STAFF Since we go to a private high school, the amount of work required of our book- keeping staff is tremendous. Our tuition payments are only a small part of the work which they do. Mrs. Pat Voegele, Mrs. Ruth Rauscher, Mrs. Leola Moehlankamp, Mr. E. Walkenhorst, Mr. Erwin Wesche. 17
