The faculty of Lutheran High School Central has done a basic duty this past year by following the guidance of Psalm lll, verse 10, which says 4'The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdomf' In this, the teachers and other administrators have strived to enrich our spiritual lives as fellow Christians. There remains yet another duty, however, and that is, of course, the teaching of academic skills. VVith- out the knowledge gained by their patience, understanding, and help, both in class and in their spare time, we could never succeed in life as stewards of our time and talents. In addition, the faculty sponsor enough outside activities to keep us busy for the entire year. However their guidance is essential in the success of any organi- zation. And so we would thank them for a wonderful year of academic advance and Christian growth, all in Christ's name. VVe are thankful to the Board of Trustees for providing us with the excellent Christian education which we are receiving, Together they have spent countless hours working to improve our high school system. These hfteen men, have labored hard and long to give us the best possible education. VVe are most grateful to all of these people for their concern and efforts in giving us the Christ-centered education which will be a lasting influence on our lives. Board of Trustees from left: E. Mr. Kermit C. Meyer Q Principal Dear Friends, Graduation is a time of mixed feelings and emotions. One feels regret at the loss of many happy moments shared with classmates. Joy is experienced as one reflects on the feelings of satisfaction over accomplishments of the past. Ahead lie the responsibilities and opportunities of the future. As you enter upon this phase of your life, be assured that the prayers of your parents and your teach- ers go with you. Your diplomas certify that you have met the standards for graduation. We are sure that with the help of Christ, our Lord and Savior, you will also meet the standards of life and faithful service to God, church and country. Lutheran High Central bids you farewell. May you always remember your days here. May you come back to visit us often. In Christ 3 K. C. Meyer, Principal 9
