N N Q sf 65 L- Z gs, Student Council This year Student Council was not only the governing body ot Lutheran High but also the staunch backer of the school spirit move- ment. Among Their numerous projects, the Council led the entire student body in electing Hans Heinz as Prep Player ot the Week. As in previous years, three members ot the executive board were sent to the Lutheran High School Student Council Convention. Hans Heinz, Dwight Leimer, and Dorothy Bohnert represented St. Louis at this years' convention, which was held in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Again, the Student Council directed the distribution ot chapel collections. Woirthy charities received the donations that were col- ected in the chapel services each week, The first ot two new proiects initiated this year was the placing of photographs of various school activities on a bulletin board in the alcove. As the second proiect, the Council sent our greeting cards to cheer those students who were ill. As a whole, the student body has the Student Council to thank tor guiding them through a progressive year. 24
