prodzgue an . libecbcafion Do you remember? This question has been asked many times in the past few weeks. High-school days are almost over for us seniors, and although we look forward to what lies ahead, we also would like to take a backward glance at the events we have witnessed. Do you seniors remember the Freshmen Branch? Can you remember your feelings as you walked into the new school for the first time? Remember the first game on our own field, and the victory it brought? How about the parties, plays and homecomings? But most of all, do you remember our daily devotions, through which the guiding hand of God led us along the paths of Christian lite? Because of these and many other events which have taken place in the past few years, we, iust as the students shown looking backward into the past wish to dedicate this book to the hours of today, the minutes ol tomorrow, but especially to the . . . MANY MOMENTS WE HAVE TO REMEMBER . K args sf . A Y ic- A 'ff W givsji 45435 4, is6g,gsZY5yigs sw' 'Z -' I . -t fs 2 ,.,, --i- -ff: is , .U t i . ,mag e tibfgsg K Xggwgffsg- W . gg i ?

LOUIS A. MENKING Principal R ft up jo fke grcwfuafed: Time is an Opportunity. In the divine counsel of God, Time is your opportunity to plan your career for eternity. Your high school years at Luther North, short but important, have contributed to that end. To observe the opportunity as the apocryphal writer states, is enioined upon you who this year leave your Alma Mater to make your own way in lite. We of the Luther North staff, who count it a privilege to have guided you in the proper use of your Time, shall be fully rewarded when the annals of the future record that the class of 1956 has fully measured up to the opportunities presented to them.
