Qn J l zmoxiam 1922-1977 We, the class of 77, note with regret the illness and death of Mr. James DeSautelle. Quiet and unassuming, attentive to the needs of his classes, he had earned the respect of his students. He impressed his collegues by the courage and dignity with which he met adversity. Mr. DeSautelle earned his B.S. degree from the University of Minnesota at Duluth and his Master’s degree from the Minneapolis campus. He continued his studies at Cornell and the University of Southern California, majoring in social and biological sciences. Mr. DeSautelle began teaching at Norrie in 1949. In 1952 he joined the high school faculty. Mr. DeSautelle served in the United States Army during the Second World War. With gratitude for his years of teaching and with sorrow that he is no longer with us, we honor his memory . . .
