Principal's Message On entering Luther L. Wright High School in the fall of 1971, each member of the Class of 1975 set some personal goals to be achieved. Most of these goals were realized during the past four years. Others were modified to conform with the new knowledge and skills that were being learned. On behalf of the Faculty, Administration and Board of Education, I want to extend heartiest congratulations to each member of the Class of 1975 and to wish them continuous success in the future. Dedication — Mr. Samuel Held We, the Class of 1975, have chosen to dedicate our Hematite to Mr. Samuel Held. He has been an exceptional teacher and colleague. In his work, he has taught each student, with the utmost sincerity, patience, and concern to accept responsibility and to strive for the best. He has set a fine example for all of us. Mr. Held will retire this spring after 34 years of teaching chemistry, physics, biology, general science, and conservation. He has been a dedicated advisor to the Future Teachers of America. Upon retiring, he plans to travel in Europe. He will also have more time to spend with his favorite hobbies: gardening, fishing, reading, and listening to classical music. We, along with everyone else at L.L. Wright, wish him the very best and a most enjoyable future. 3
