Dedication — Mr. Samuel Held We, the Class of 1975, have chosen to dedicate our Hematite to Mr. Samuel Held. He has been an exceptional teacher and colleague. In his work, he has taught each student, with the utmost sincerity, patience, and concern to accept responsibility and to strive for the best. He has set a fine example for all of us. Mr. Held will retire this spring after 34 years of teaching chemistry, physics, biology, general science, and conservation. He has been a dedicated advisor to the Future Teachers of America. Upon retiring, he plans to travel in Europe. He will also have more time to spend with his favorite hobbies: gardening, fishing, reading, and listening to classical music. We, along with everyone else at L.L. Wright, wish him the very best and a most enjoyable future. 3
