By presenting its class play on November 2l, 1953, the Senior Class added another first in the annuls of Luther South. For the production, the gymnasium-auditorium of Bethel Lutheran Church was rented. As the house- lights dimmed, the curtains opened on the comed , We Shook the Family Tree . Starring in the lead role was Roberta Triegle. In the supporting cast were Bruce Wachholz and ,Ioan Temple as her parents, along with her sister Carole Maier, and brothers George Lux and Bud Watters. Others in the cast were Bill Ernst as the business associate and his family Ruth Wittmer, and Ralph Klein. In other supporting roles were Edith Koltermann, Janet Gaus, and Betty Zenker. Who of the cast will forget the evenings spent at practice under the pa- tient direction of Mrs. Wager? And finally -- the big night! As entertainnent the dramatization was a huge success. Surely it will not be quickly forgotten by those who had the opportunity of participating in this presentation. SENICR CLASS PLAY
